Your Self - Personal Development

  • Why Change? Why Plan?
In today's world, the speed of change, and our increasing information / knowledge base, is making it necessary to constantly learn new and sometimes wildly different information, just to keep up with it all. In today's times, we will fall rapidly behind, if we do not plan to stay ahead.

  • What's Your Dream?
That which moves you inexorably towards it's attainment. Your life purpose, a worthwhile mission that you have a real need to fulfill, where just the pursuit of it demands you be at your best self. You rise to the occasion, it gets you up early, it keeps you up late, all the moments inbetween a whirlwind of action and excitement. You are living your dream, happily and joyfully making life pay your price.

  • Achieving Your Dreams
Dreams are a projection of the kind of life you want to lead. Dreams can drive you. Dreams can make you skip over obstacles. When you allow your dreams to pull you, they unleash a creative force that can overpower any obstacle in your path. To unleash this power, though, your dreams must be well defined.

  • Business Practices To Bring Home
Bringing work home from the office isn’t often heralded as the path to a fulfilling life. In fact, the spillover of work into home is an ongoing struggle for many. But, there are 4 business practices, that, when adopted in your personal life, can enhance your overall effectiveness and ease.

  • Discover Your Vision
You should be able to see the future with clarity. When you want something bad enough, you have already seen it in your mind. The universe will not reward you physically, until you believe it mentally.

  • Finding Your LIfe Purpose
What is a Life Purpose or Calling? Life purpose is a calling, an overall theme for our life or intent that transcends our daily activities. It is the quality we are here on earth to develop, the type of service we are here to render.

  • Writing A Purpose Statement
Committing yourself to defining your purpose is the perhaps the most important task you could ever engage in. “Discovering your purpose will put your life into crystal-clear perspective,” says Mark Victor Hansen in an Internet article “Conceptualize your Purpose.”

  • How To Stay Positive
How to stay positive, Yes. The very fact that we are just that, human, allows us all to have down times. The difference lies in how quickly we choose to get over those things that are holding us back, or making us feel at less then our personal best. And that I believe is a major key - being able to get past the downtimes in ones life as quickly as possible and getting back on with being your best. Remember, positive attitude and motivation are hands on projects.

  • Five Top Tips to Build Your Motivation
When we are motivated we’re energetic, focused, and we get things done. Too many of us have ambitions we want to achieve but we wait for the motivation before we get going. The good news is that we can all learn practical actions to boost our motivation, keep it high, and so achieve our ambitions.

  • Why You Don't Need Motivation
I often hear people say they lack motivation – in fact, the “motivation discussion” is almost a ritual with my new clients. You really want something, in fact you almost need it, but you just don’t have the drive to get to it. Motivation . . .

  • Self Image
Relationships are the key to a joyful, successful Life. Your relationship with yourself is one of the most important; your self image, the picture of yourself that you hold in your mind will determine how much you put in and therefore how much you get out of life.

  • Self Discipline
The successful person has the habit of doing the things failures don't like to do. They don't like doing them either necessarily. But their disliking is subordinated to the strength of their purpose. That subordination requires a purpose, a mission, a clear sense of direction and value, a burning " YES! " inside.

  • Fix Negative Self Talk
This I think, is one of the toughest parts to discipline. Every time I would go for it, this little voice inside me would say, 'Who do you think you are? Others more powerful than you have failed at this. What makes you think that you have what it takes? And so on and so on ..... Three things I will do when this tiny (but powerful) voice shows up are:

  • Doubt Kills Goal Achievement
What do you doubt about yourself? Do you question your ability to live according to your Higher Self’s purpose? Your ego has been conditioned to question your higher self. It is an altruism that keeps us living our lives based on someone else’s beliefs and values. Life IS fair. Life is fair to those who HAVE NO DOUBT. Or more accurately, Life is fair to those who HAVE NO FEAR.
