Clean Your Body Inside - Cleanse Your System

Eliminating The Excess

Unless you have been on a water fast for the last forty days, or if you have been eating exclusively raw fruits and vegetables for the past five years, then chances are that you would benefit from a one to three day cleanse or detox period. The best case scenario would be to eat minimally and properly all the time, and get plenty of fresh, pure water, but in this society, what do you think the chances are for that to happen, for most of us? Some people are making the changes, most of us will not.

With all the types of pollution we are subjected to, the stresses and pressures of life itself, and not to mention all the unnecessary food and drink we ingest in the name of 'entertainment', feeding the taste buds instead of our bodies, we are building up toxins in our bodies that we have difficulty getting rid of. Some of the processed foods that we consume do not have any basis in nutrition at all. All this buildup tends to sludge up our operating systems and cause energy drains and disease. Time for a Cleanse.

Do you bounce out of bed in the morning, ready to take on the day’s challenges, or do you hit the old snooze button a couple times, that is, until you come dangerously close to being late.

Do you have energy to spare from early morning to late in the evening or are you craving an energy boost by break time?

Are you healthy, fit, and illness free, or do you have to fight off colds, flu’s, allergies, headaches, sinus, sicknesses, . . . . . ?

As we get older, as we continue to build up toxicity in our system without periodic cleansing adjustments, sooner or later our immune system starts to become compromised, and problems develop. Those so called ‘lifestyle’ diseases are on the increase today, high blood pressure, heart and artery problems, diabetes, certain types of cancers, etc., etc. . . . . , most of it food related in some form or fashion.

In today's North American society, one must take time out to cleanse and rejuvenate the system. There is a price to pay for having all of those indescribably delicious treats that we habitually eat, instead of limiting them to an occasional treat, or reward so to speak. How do we compete with or ignore the billions of dollars in advertising we are subjected to on a daily basis, telling us that these foods are OK to have, or healthy in some such way.

One to three days of delicious fruit and veggie juices, or one to three days of all raw vegetables or fruits, about every month or two, doesn't sound like too much to do, considering how much we tend to spoil ourself on an a regular basis. In point of fact, clear, pure delicious water, fruit juices, vegetable juices from produce that is organically grown can be a wonderful experience, both nutritional and energizing!

A juice fast or water fast to cleanse the system is not something one does without consulting their physician, or without having an experienced person supervising. There are many products on the market today that will facilitate the cleansing of toxins and wastes from the body. Not quite mainstream yet, but certainly gaining acceptance and growing market momentum. Let’s face it, cleansing is in, and gives your energy levels a super boost long term.

Remember that it is always prudent to check with your physician before you change any of your daily routines.
