Vibrant Energy - Your Life Force

How To Build Abundant Energy Supplies

Many people equate the word energy with just it's physical component, arrived at by proper nutrition and exercise. Real energy, life force, is arrived at when your body's needs are supplied in the proper balance, not too much, not too little, and encompasses both the mental and physical needs.

I am sure that you have experienced at least once, the feeling of tiredness, and if someone asked you at that time, to do something with them that you were not particularly enthused about, you would possibly answer, "No, I am too tired." Then, if at this same time, someone had asked you to do something with them that you were extremely excited about or interested in, I would bet that you would say, "Yes, let's do it now!"

What is the difference? Did you have any more energy the second time, than the first? No, not really! What made the difference, is plain and simple Enthusiasm, Excitement, Passion for something! Yes, all your physical needs have to be met, but, also, you must have something to look forward to, something in your life that you are excited about, something new that you are learning, something that brings out the best that you've got! Your Dream!

Overall Health and Well Being is a combination of Personal Development, and Physical Development. You can't separate them, you can't shortcut the system, without paying a major price somewhere in your Energy Supply. So, if you skipped by the section on Self Improvement, you might want to rethink that decision. It is hugely important in the way you spend your years.

Having said that there are many things that you can do to increase your energy supply on the nutrition and exercise side.

Eat more raw, "live" foods, enzyme and water rich fruits and vegetables.

Drink water/juice/green drinks each day. (w/lemon, ginger, super greens, etc.)

Take Multi vitamins and Herbal Supplements as needed

3 smaller meals, 3 snacks at least, low glycemic index foods

Spread out proteins and fats over the day.

Meditate 2 times a day - morning and late afternoon.

Breathing exercises at noon.

Combine foods properly, eat simply, avoid lots of different foods at one sitting

Eat sea vegetables more often.

Eat raw nuts and legumes with salads or as snacks.

Olive oil, flax seed oil, in salads and increase fish intake for fatty acids.

Exercise 4-6 times a week, for 20-25 min. Alternate aerobic and strength workouts.

Preplan at least 20 delicious, healthy meals, at least 5 of them main course salads.

One day regularly dedicated to eat only raw foods and juices

Have 10 delicious healthy foods ready, that can be snacked on.

Notice that I have not mentioned cutting out particular food types or activities. Part of our energy supply comes from enjoying our life, enjoying what we eat and do. I say that you stay with your favorites, enjoy them, and develop and create "new" favorites that are more empowering as we go! That is of course unless you are now on dangerous ground, and have to make drastic changes in order to survive.

Remember to check with your physician before starting anything new or different than you normally do.
